Armed Forces Thanksgiving
The Armed Forces Thanksgiving event was created in 2014 by a group of Grand Rapids businessmen with the objective of raising awareness and dialogue on the contributions our military personnel have made - and continue to make - on behalf of their families, friends, and country. The annual event provides a vehicle for our community, from teens to adults, to understand, honor, and express thanks for the service of those who have served or are serving in our Armed Forces. Event monies after expenses are donated to the West Michigan Veterans Coalition so that they can continue their mission of improving the lives of veterans and their families by connecting them to all available support services and resources in West Michigan.

Figi Jezi
With the Thomas Hamlin Medical/Dental Clinic in place and two new learning spaces, we are one step closer to being able to meet the medical, dental and educational needs of our community. Though our long-term goal focuses on orphan rescue we are first initiating orphan prevention strategies within our community in order to keep children at home and out of makeshift orphanages. Each of our programs are designed as grassroot efforts providing valuable jobs and resources within our community enabling our parents to provide for and care for their families. We are working towards educating and equipping our communities to work together, learn together and grow together as one community under God. "Many hands makes the load lighter." Haitian Proverb
